Hello again!
Thanks for stopping by. We love it when you do. Look, Sarah made scones! Come on over here and sit for a bit.
Speaking of visiting, did you by chance catch the post about the new Stampin’ Up Perpetual Calendar Kit? It’s a fantastic kit and makes something that just about anyone would find useful. (See the post here.)
But, you know, there’s one thing we noticed when we completed that project—how much material was left over when we finished! Check this out:
That’s a lot of stuff!
So, we had the great idea. We said, “Hey there, Finders Keepers, why not see if we can make something cool with all these leftover bits!” and then we said, “Say, that’s a great idea!”
And so we did.
Introducing……the Perpetual Calendar Birthday Cards from Leftover Bits!!!
With very minimal use of other materials, we were able to make TWELVE birthday cards. And guess what? They fit in the box that comes with the Perpetual Calendar, so if you wanted to include them with the Perpetual Calendar as a gift for someone special, you totally could!
Here are the cards:
Just click to enlarge.
And here are the little extras we needed to pull these cards off:
(12) white notecards with envelopes
(5) 3/4” x 12” strips from the DSP paper stacks in corresponding colors you might have on hand
(12) 4-1/2” x 3” pieces from those same sheets from the DSP Stacks
(12) 4-1/4” x 2-3/4” pieces of Whisper White cardstock
some scraps of Whisper White cardstock for stamping the sentiment
Go ahead and give them a try! You won’t regret it!
And we were having so much fun, we whipped up these thank you notes to send to all the fabulous people we met at CHA:
See you soon,
