Ta Da! Take a Break Planner Pops

Our culture is so steeped in hard work (which is one of our favorite things about our country, by the way). But, don’t you think, sometimes, when no one’s looking, it might be a good idea to put your feet up for just a couple of minutes?

Usually September brings sending the kids back to school and a sort of resurgence of work in its various forms. Vacation time is over. It’s time to refocus on career, help kids with schoolwork, recommit to the volunteer work at church or in your community. The holidays are coming, after all, so it’s time to get to work, right?

As we head into another school year, fiscal year (or however you measure your year), we at Finders Keepers want to encourage you to just pencil in some time each day to SIT. And maybe be STILL. Or have a cup of COFFEE. You are deserving of this little bit (even just 5 little minutes) of personal attention.

So here is this month’s reminder to do just that, in the form of our Planner Pops: Take a Break. May it inspire you to take the few minutes each day to thank your body for carrying you around and doing your hard work, by resting.
