Our Topic:
We want to pay homage to the little things we carry with us that make our days easier or brighter. So we emptied our purses and took a look at the stuff we can’t live without.
Your Challenge:
Take some pictures of the things
you carry with you.
Pictures? Glitter?
Bits of string that may
come in handy some day?
Whatever it is, document it! Just think—years from now, when your kids or grandkids or great-grandkids look at this page, how interesting it will be to them. (What will cell phones even look like then??) Wouldn’t you love to see what your great-great-grandmother couldn’t travel without?
Stamping:
We didn’t stamp this week! (Whaaaaat??) Instead, we opted to write freehand and create lists on all our journaling cards. We rough inked the edges of the Whisper White Cardstock with the brush end of a marker and then just started writing. It was super quick and easy.
Embellishments:
We used a lot of embellishments here: wooden accents, washi tape and sequins all come together to create a fun spread just full of personality. We love it.
Paper:
We are beginning to run low on our black and white DSP, so we’re going to cut some more in a new color scheme for next time. Be sure to replenish your own Studio 52 kit as needed, so you never run out of materials mid-layout.
See you next time!
