Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies

Well, Valentines Day is upon us and you know what that means…..treats for everyone! But, oh, no! What are we going to put them in???

Fear not!

We are super excited to share with you this new die set that is sure to make your Valentines Day so much easier (and fun!)

These bags take a 6”x12” piece of DSP (which will make one bag, plus several little embellishment options that are included with the die). You can use the included heart or star die, for example, to cut a window into your little bag and then either leave it open or insert a window sheet.

We always recommend using the magnetic platform, which is a wonderful piece of equipment for keeping those dies in place. (But you can use the standard platform and get great results as well.)

For really great definition and a nice, clean cut, we also recommend using waxed paper in your “sandwich.” And our friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Lis, also recommends using a new dryer sheet to help cushion the cut. So here is the “sandwich”:

cutting pad
die (cutting edge down)
waxed paper
DSP or cardstock
dryer sheet
cutting pad
cutting platform (regular or magnetic)

The Mini Treat Bag die cuts out two pieces of pre-scored paper, which you then simply fold and adhere, easy as pie!

The SU! notecards are a perfect fit, by the way.

So, there you are! You can either use the bags for a little treat or as an alternative to an envelope—either way, you win, because these bags are ADORABLE.
