Our Topic:
This week, as you may know, we attended the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) trade show in Anaheim, CA. So we chose to represent all that fun and craziness here.
Your Challenge:
Document places you go this week. It might be a special trip, but it could also be your daily travels. Sometimes we might take for granted our trips to the store and taking our kids to piano lessons. The time we take to travel around our neighborhoods is special and, goodness knows, we spend enough of our lives in these places, so let’s document it!
Stamping:
We used Stampin’ Up! Craft Pad in Whisper White on the smooth side of the chalkboard paper and the Candy Dots in Neutrals for the marquee dots (and who does’t love marquees?).
On a personal note, we got a little starstruck at CHA. When we met Becky Higgins, we sort of ran around in circles squealing for a bit and we pretty much made spectacles of ourselves trying to get pictures with Tim Holtz (we’re should be receiving a restraining order soon….). Theresa Collins was so gracious and kind while we ran around her booth, yelling, “Rach! Look at this!” and “Sarah—over here!” It was all such terrific fun.
But our favorite people were the sales reps we met at American Crafts, Bo Bunny, Art Bin, Me and My Big Ideas and Maya Road (just to name a very few—there were 3 acres of craft booths!!!). These were just all great people and they were so helpful and kind to us newbies.
