Our Topic:
Not feeling the pictures this week, so we decided to stick with the words. We had some fun going through some of the texting we had done and arranging the conversations in a layout. Sarah has some of the letters her grandparents wrote and they are super cool in their own way, but texting has a more “everyday conversation” feel. Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to look back and see the little snippets of conversation our grandparents or great grandparents participated in, in the course of a day?
Your Challenge:
Record some of the texts you have shared with friends, family, your kids, and then arrange them in a layout.
Design:
We used the last of the Lullaby DSP for our background, which was a bit of a challenge, because, when one is working with leftovers, one doesn’t always get the look one is hoping for, does one? We also employed the Word Bubbles Framelits Die (which is currently on sale, by the by) and then just wrote the texts by hand. We also found that our wooden embellishments included a little word bubble, so threw that into the mix as well.
