Our Topic:

We got to thinking here at Finders Keepers (always a dangerous proposition) and realized that, although we generally consider ourselves homebodies (we like to be coooozy….), we also spend a good amount of time exploring new places with our children. (Aren’t children great for getting us outside of our comfort zones?) So we dug around and found some really fun pictures of Sarah’s family visiting here and there.

Your Challenge:

Do what we did! Go somewhere with your peeps and take some photos. Or dig out some of your favorite pics of the places you’ve been. These can be big, fancy places, like Europe or smaller, more everyday places, like a local baseball game. Think of it anyway you please and do let us know how it all works out for you!

Design:

First we found all the pictures we wanted to use and decided the blue/yellow side of the Lullaby DSP would work best with these pics. We stamped in Island Indigo directly on the background paper, with the Adventure Bound Stamp Set and finished it all off with the Project Life by Stampin’ Up Cards and Labels Framelits dies. We hand drew in a border on the labels with an Island Indigo marker and then wrote in the places by hand. Super quick. Super fun.

Fun Fact:

We often forget to include the calendar portion of the layout, but can usually save the day with some clever rearranging of the layout. But this time, when we once again forgot, we really felt wedded to the layout and didn’t want to change anything. Sooooo…..we created a tiny calendar embellishment!
