Sometimes it feels like the best thing about crafting–working with colors and textures–is also the hardest thing. We have been doing this for awhile and we have really come to appreciate companies who coordinate their products. It makes the choices we make as we create a little less daunting. It helps us see the possibilities before we even begin to work. There are companies who have mastered this–like Bo Bunny and Stampin’ Up! and we have come to see these companies as mentors in our work with color.
So–surprise, surprise–we have decided to follow the example of these terrific paper crafting companies and create our own color groupings; to help us develop products with tight color palettes and to help our customers work successfully with our products, especially as our offerings grow in the coming months and years. Our four color families, for example, might help, if you are working with pastel papers, to inform the colors you choose for inks and embellishments.
And, to kick off our color families, we are putting together SIX new card kits, that bring together the stamps and dies of Lawn Fawn, beautiful card stock from My Colors and Bazzill and amazing embellishments from Buttons Galore. We have brought these companies’ products together into color coordinated suites that will make you card makers *swoon*.
Our card kits will be super easy and super intuitive, while still allowing for tons of your own, one of a kind, creativity.
So, with no further adieu, we would like to introduce our four paper collections that you will see featured in this year’s card making kits:
Have a Colorful Day!
