We have been avid Facebookers for years and years and years. So, it only makes sense that one of the first things we did after started Finders Keepers was to create a Facebook page (and an Instagram account, and a Pinterest account…..gotta love social media!). Participating in social media has been so rewarding for us, as we’ve been able to get to know–and craft with–all of you! And lately we have been really enjoying Facebook Live! There is such immediacy to the live videos and, slowly but surely, our fellow crafters and planners have been finding their way to our broadcasts and leaving messages. We really love to interact directly with our customers and these live videos are great for that.
AAAAnnnnnddd….did you know that we broadcast live every week? We live stream our State of the Paper Address every Thursday, at about 11:00, and then, every month, on the first Friday of the month, we live stream a craft project at about 10:00am. (Last Friday, March 3, Sarah put together Bo Bunny’s Life in Color album in just over an hour. It was really fun!) What makes these live broadcasts so terrific is that they allow our customers to leave comments and ask questions that we can see and answer right there, on the air!
Also, and this is maybe even better, the videos stay on our Facebook page (and we also bring them onto our YouTube page, by the by) and you may continue to engage with us by leaving comments, whenever you like, and we can reply. It’s so great. So immediate. So friendly. There’s just so much to love about Facebook Live!
But, although we want to get our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube posts to everyone, the Minds that are behind these websites (and we mean Minds, with a capital M!) say that people who like our page and people who engage with our posts (even with just a thumbs up!) are the most likely to see them in their feed. So, if you want to see what we’re up to, please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. And, what the heck, Pinterest, too!
So, once again, here is our current Facebook Live schedule (these live videos are then polished up a bit and posted to YouTube a couple of days later):
State of the Paper live broadcasts on
Thursdays at 11:00am (PST)
Craft with Us live broadcasts on
the first Friday of the month at 10:00am (PST)
And we may also live stream on other days, if we absolutely, positively have to share something exciting with all of you!
See you at our next live broadcast!
