Today we joined our local Chamber of Commerce, which works to promote businesses in our area. The people at the Claremont Chamber are super friendly. Rachel and I were all nervous and thinking things like, “Can we be here?” and “Are we allowed?” and Marlene was saying things like, “Hello!” and “Get in here!” and giving hugs all around.
So here we are at our first Chamber breakfast, where we got to speak briefly about our plan to bring more craftiness to the world, one person at a time (public speaking! yikes!). And we got a plaque that says we are loyal and true.
Plus we get a discount on our Village Venture booth! Yay!
