Did you pass notes in school? We were masters at it. We still have some of the notes we passed. Sarah’s high school friends used to create long, involved comics, with little stick figures depicting, for example, the cast of Hill Street Blues or Barry Manilow in outrageous situations. Passing notes was such a integral part of our early schooling that we carried it on into adulthood, exchanging little notes with our kids and all the special people in our lives.
