When I was young, I used to think about what my life would be like when I was all grown up. Pictures of the adventures that would comprise my life would fill my daydreaming head while Mr. Connor lectured about Algebra. Although my life is so different now than I envisioned all those years ago, I still think about my life as an adventure, of sorts. While I don’t travel the world, as I thought I would, helping people as only a Nobel Prize-winning, famous writer/actress/filmmaker/donut maker can, I do try to help the people I meet as only Sarah Innerst-Peterson, mother to Trumann and Stori and papercrafter, can.
And, while the younger, daydreamy version of my life is, perhaps, more glamorous, I wouldn’t change a thing about who I’ve become. I love my adventure. And I hope you love yours, as well!
